My Journey to Naturopathic Medicine:
My path to naturopathic medicine wasn't a straight line—it began in art studios and outdoor education programs from Alaska to New York. After a profound experience with a Kindergartener in my art classroom one day, it became incredibly clear that my highest calling was in healthcare. However, I remain grateful for my foundation as an educator as it informs how I approach medicine: with creativity, adaptability, and an eye for the unique patterns in each person's story.
I have profound empathy for the health challenges my patients face, having healed from many of the same conditions I now treat. My personal experience brings an additional layer of understanding that can't be learned from textbooks or training courses.
Despite my extensive formal education—from a Bachelor of Fine Arts to a Master of Arts in Teaching to my Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine, and many training courses—I remain, first and foremost, a perpetual student. I won't hesitate to tell you when I don't know something, and I'll go to extraordinary lengths to find answers, even if that means spending hours consulting with specialists.
What I Believe About Medicine:
Medicine should serve your life, not rule it.
I believe in uncovering root causes, not just managing symptoms. Your body has an incredible capacity to heal, bounce back from illness and injury, and build lasting resilience.
Your goals are the north star.
Whether you're raising little ones, fighting for justice, baking bread for friends, or building community—healing should enhance your purpose, not derail it. We will work together to get you back to the activities that light you up.
Transformation happens in layers.
I'm just as likely to recommend you write a “things that spark joy” list as I am to prescribe a supplement. True healing embraces both the practical and the profound.
Every body has its own rhythm.
There's no one-size-fits-all approach here. Your treatment plan should be as unique as your story.
You deserve a partner in healing.
I bring not just my medical expertise and skills but my whole self—artist, educator, and healer—to support your journey. I will always encourage you to do the same.

A Bit Beyond the Clinic:
When I'm not supporting patients on their healing journeys, you might find me painting watercolors, hiking, or reading. I am a bubbly water enthusiast, major Swiftie, and lover of corny “dad” jokes and bowties.
I’m so grateful you’re here.
